These Terms of Use govern your use of PixCut, developed and operated by LBS. By downloading, installing, or using PixCut, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle any information collected through your use of PixCut.
LBS grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to use PixCut on your Android device for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the app. You may not modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on PixCut. You may not distribute, sublicence, sell, rent, or otherwise transfer the app or any rights in it to any third party. You may not remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices within the app. You may not use PixCut in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or that violates the rights of others.
PixCut does not require you to create an account. All core features are available without registration. If you contact our support team, you voluntarily provide your name and email address solely for the purpose of receiving assistance.
You may use PixCut for personal photo editing and enhancement, background removal, image upscaling, document scanning and PDF export, image compression, text extraction, and translation.
You may not use PixCut to create, process, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party. You may not use the app for commercial purposes without prior written permission from LBS. You may not attempt to interfere with the app's functionality, circumvent its security measures, or gain unauthorised access to any associated systems or servers.
You retain full ownership of all photos and images you use within PixCut. LBS does not claim any ownership over your content. All image processing takes place locally on your device — your images are not uploaded to our servers and are not accessible to LBS at any point. Any temporary files created during processing are deleted automatically upon completion.
The limited licence you grant LBS by using the app extends only to what is technically necessary to perform the function you have requested, on your device, in the moment you request it. Nothing more.
PixCut, including its design, code, features, graphics, and all related content, is owned by LBS and protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of LBS's intellectual property to you.
The app incorporates third-party technologies including Google ML Kit, RapidAPI, Zoho Mail, and GitHub Pages, each of which is subject to its own terms and licences.
PixCut includes an automatic update system hosted on GitHub Pages. By using the app, you consent to receiving updates, which may include bug fixes, performance improvements, new features, and security patches. We recommend keeping the app updated to ensure the best experience and the latest security protections.
We work to keep PixCut stable and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may temporarily suspend access to the app for maintenance, security reasons, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any inconvenience or loss arising from such interruptions.
PixCut is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. LBS makes no warranty that the app will meet your specific requirements, produce perfect results for every image, be free from errors or interruptions, or be compatible with every Android device or operating system version.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LBS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use PixCut. This includes, without limitation, any loss of data, loss of profits, device damage, or third-party service interruptions.
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, LBS's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app, if anything.
You may stop using PixCut at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
LBS reserves the right to discontinue the app or restrict access to it at any time, including in cases of a violation of these Terms, illegal or harmful use, or for technical or security reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to provide notice where practical.
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any dispute arising from your use of PixCut that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the relevant jurisdiction. Nothing in this clause limits your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this document and, where changes are significant, notify you through the app. Continued use of PixCut after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree with a change, you should stop using the app.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible. The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
