PixCut is built by LBS with one guiding principle: your photos are yours. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use PixCut, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We've written it in plain language because we believe you deserve to actually understand it.
By using PixCut, you agree to the practices described below. If anything is unclear, you're always welcome to reach out at lbs_dev@zohomail.com.
Your photos and images. Everything PixCut does — background removal, upscaling, compression, document scanning — happens entirely on your device. Your images are never uploaded to our servers, never stored in the cloud, and never seen by anyone at LBS. Temporary files created during processing are deleted automatically the moment the task is complete.
Support information. If you contact us through the app's support feature, we collect your email address, your name if you choose to provide it, and the content of your message. This information is used solely to respond to you and resolve your issue.
We use the information you provide through support — your name, email, and messages — only to respond to your enquiries and provide technical help. We do not collect usage data, analytics, or any technical information about your device or how you use the app.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not use your images for any purpose whatsoever.
While LBS does not collect analytics or usage data, some third-party services integrated into PixCut may collect certain information independently under their own privacy policies. These include:
We recommend reviewing each provider's privacy policy to understand what data, if any, they collect on their end. LBS has no control over third-party data collection practices and is not responsible for the privacy practices of these services.
All images you process in PixCut remain on your device. We have no access to them at any point.
Support emails and correspondence are retained for a maximum of 12 months from the date of your last message, then permanently deleted. If you uninstall PixCut, all locally stored app data is removed from your device at that point.
We use industry-standard encryption for any data transmitted between your device and our services. Support emails are transmitted securely. We conduct regular reviews of our security practices and update them as standards evolve.
No system is perfectly impenetrable, but protecting your information is something we take seriously and invest in continuously.
Since LBS collects only the support correspondence you voluntarily send us, your rights in relation to that data are straightforward. You may request a copy of any support emails we hold, ask us to correct any inaccurate information, or request that we delete your correspondence entirely. We will action all requests within 30 days.
To make a request, email lbs_dev@zohomail.com with the subject line "Data Request."
PixCut is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have done so, we will delete that information immediately. If you are a parent or guardian and have concerns, please contact us directly.
Support data processed through Zoho Mail may be stored on servers outside your home country. Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate protections are in place consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
If we make significant changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this document and notify users through the app. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of PixCut after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
